Alexander Cameron was widowed by the death of Isabella Cameron on 15 September 1860.1 Alexander Cameron married Margaret McFarlane, daughter of Angus McFarlane and Catherine MacGillivray, at Based on death of Alexander's first wife in 1860 and birth of their daughter in 1862. Alexander Cameron died on 1 January 1872.1 He is buried in South River Cemetery, at Saint Andrew's, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.1

Date of death listed on the stone is Aug 13, 1875.1 Lauchlan Cameron married Mary McDonald, daughter of Donald Angus McDonald (MacBride) and Margaret MacDonell.2 Lauchlan Cameron died in 1875.2

          Margaret Gillis was also known as Margret Gillies Name as given on her tombstone.1 Either her date of marriage as given by Drummer on Foot is wrong, or else her date of death or age at death as given on her tombstone are wrong. She was born in 1785 at Ceann Loch Morar, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Donald Gillis and (?) McGillivray.3 Margaret Gillis married Hugh Cameron, son of Dougald Cameron and Sine Cameron, on 21 February 1791.3 Her married name was Cameron.3 Margaret Gillis and Hugh Cameron immigrated in 1801; from possibly Ceann Loch Morar (where Margaret GILLIS was from) to Pictou, Nova Scotia. DOF says this was on the 'Hector'; evidence seems to suggest maybe the 'Dove' (see http://www.rootsweb.com/~nspictou/dove.html) or the 'Sarah' (see http://www.rootsweb.com/~nspictou/sarah.html).4 Margaret Gillis was widowed by the death of Hugh Cameron on 17 May 1856.1 Margaret Gillis died on 27 December 1868.1 She is buried in South River Cemetery, at Saint Andrew's, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.1
