HALEY, Theresa Gerardine - 76, of 18 Court St., Antigonish, died March 13, 2001, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Mary Agnes (MacDonald) Cameron (South Side Harbour, Antigonish County). She graduated from Mount St. Bernard College, Antigonish in 1943 and worked at Cyril Sears Dry Cleaners, D.D. MacDonald, Eatons Order Office and taught for one year at South Side Harbour School. In 1953, she married John G. Haley and lived in various areas across Canada: Barrie, Ont., Calgary, Alta., Bagotville, Que. and Dartmouth. After moving back to Antigonish in 1971, she worked at Neil's Gift Store and St. F.X. Alumni office before retiring in 1989. Surviving are husband, John G. Haley, Court St., Antigonish; daughter, Lenore (Dale) MacKeen, Antigonish; sons, John C. (Anne), Rose Valley, Sask.; Gordon (Sue), Lower Sackville; Brian (Janet), Rosetown, Sask.; Bob (Jacquie), Hay River, N.W.T.; Bill, Halifax; brothers, Owen (Peggy), Charlie (Diane), South Side Harbour; Donald A., Nepean, Ont.; John F. (Joan), Belleville, Ont.; Leo (Kay), Harbour Centre, Antigonish Co.; sisters, Genevieve (Jim) MacDonald, Frasers Mills, Antigonish Co.; Sister M. Alexia C.S.M., Antigonish; Bernardine (Hector) MacNeil, Beaver Bank, Halifax Co.; 15 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Florence MacLean; brother, Joe; brother-in-law, Neil MacLean; nephews, Allan and Edward Cameron. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 16, in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral mass Saturday 10 a.m. in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. John Graham, Rev. Greg MacKinnon, Rev. Ray Huntley and Rev. Will MacPherson officiating. Burial in St. Ninian's Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Martha's Hospital in the home.
