Antigonish - Mary Agnes Gillis, 80, of R.K. Macdonald Nursing Home, Antigonish, formerly of South River, died Tuesday in Antigonish. Born in South River, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Sarah (Cameron) Cameron. Prior to her marriage, she taught in Antigonish county schools. She was a member of St. Andrew's Church, St. Andrew's. She is survived by a foster son, Lawrence, Boston; a daughter, Theresa (Mrs Francis Delorey), Tracadie; four sisters, Jenny MacEachern, Antigonish; Marcella Callahan, South River; Eunice MacDonald, Fraser's Mills; Sally Cameron, Halifax; two brothers, Donald, Antigonish; Sandy, South River. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie, and an infant brother and sister. The remains are resting at the MacIsacc Funeral Home, Antigonish. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Andrew's Church. Interment will be in South River Cemetery at a later date.
