CAMERON, Aubrey William - 80, passed away June 4, 2003, in R.K. MacDonald Guest Home, Antigonish, surrounded by his family. Born in Heatherton, he was a son of the late William and Sadie (Kehoe) Cameron. Aubrey worked for a number years in various Co-operative stores, was manager of the Tracadie Co-operative and later worked at Eastern Dairyfoods in Antigonish as bookkeeper. He owned and operated the first Pizza Delight franchises both in Antigonish and Port Hawkesbury, retiring in 1989. Aubrey enjoyed his hobbies of gardening, working the land and being outdoors. He was a great lover of music. Aubrey was a member of the Heatherton Parish Council, from 1994-1998, and assisted with many Heatherton Parish activities. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rita (Mills); sons, Gordon (Theresa), Heatherton; Alvin (Karen), Lower Sackville; Joey, Heatherton; daughters, Corinne Cameron (Ray Docker), Pictou Island; Yvonne Connor (Phillip), Orono, Ont.; Janice Lukeman (Mike), Pleasant Valley; Lorainne MacDonald (Bill), Oshawa, Ont.; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; family friend, Coline MacDonald, New Germany; sister, Clarita Chisholm (Eugene), Antigonish. He was predeceased by brothers, Ray and John; twin grandsons; stepmother, Sal Cameron; brother, Gordon; sister, Rita in infancy. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, in Immaculate Conception Church in Heatherton. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to R.K. MacDonald Guest Home, Grace Hall.
